Il nuovo direttivo de Le donne del vino delegazione Sardegna

Following the Ordinary Assembly of the Members of Sardinia of the National Association Le Donne del Vino, held at Tenute Olbios of member Daniela Pinna in Olbia on February 7, 2023, Nina Puddu, a producer from Oliena, was elected Regional Delegate for the 2023-2025 three-year period; the producer from Dolianova, Elisabetta Pala, handed over the baton to her. Two new vice-delegates were chosen by the assembly, the sommelier Maria Cristina Mamusa and the restaurateur Maria Luisa Carcangiu Bayre, who are taking over from Denise Dessena.

The new Delegate of Sardinia Nina Puddu introduces herself:
"My name is Nina Puddu, I am a producer of wine, oil, and cured meats, I am 46 years old and have been working in the family business since 1997, after obtaining my classical high school diploma.
The company is located in Oliena, in the province of Nuoro, has a total area of 50 hectares, of which 30 are vineyards, and the rest is dedicated to olive trees and the small cured meat production facility.
I run my business, together with my brothers, with great passion and dedication, the same that our parents had before us in the 70s when they created it from scratch, and with the same spirit I decided to undertake my candidacy.
I have been a member of the Donne del Vino Association since March 2017 and I joined with the pleasure of collaborating with other women who, like me, work and carry on their own business, enhancing the female figure in the world of work and at the same time to create a real synergy among women."

The Vice Delegate Cristina Mamusa tells her story:
"50 years old, graduated in Economics & Commerce from the University of Cagliari, for many years I worked in marketing in the food sector and I also worked as a professional Sommelier at two important restaurant establishments in the city of Cagliari. After spending a few years abroad, in 2019 I became an entrepreneur by founding LE STRADE DEL GUSTO, whose main activity consists in accompanying tourists and anyone who wishes to discover the most representative food and wine products of our region, with a particular focus on the world of wine. Sommelier and Official AIS Taster since 2009, I have collaborated as a lecturer at FIS and the European School of Sommeliers. Oil Sommelier since 2022, Master Taster of Cured Meats ONAF since 2021 and Technical Cheese Taster ONAS since 2022. Member of Le Donne del Vino since 2019."

The Vice Delegate Maria Luisa Carcangiu Bayre tells us about herself:
"I am Maria Luisa Carcangiu Bayre, I was born in Cagliari and I have turned 71.
AIS sommelier and restaurateur for over thirty years. The road that has brought me here has been both long and short, as in the cellar there are things that need more time and others that are ready soon.
I am a meditation wine, I am a music in which every note is indelible and a language where every word is an important ingredient as in a dish, as in a glass.
I live and work in a historic residence that tells the story of man's journey in the countryside, in the vineyard, in the gardens and orchards, but above all between the cellar and the kitchen, a continuous challenge to the perfect encounter. I was born into a family of cheese producers, but I studied art before returning to food and wine. Founding member of the Convento San Giuseppe, where, together with my husband and my sister, I transferred the sense of hospitality breathed in the family, bringing to the professional level the traditional values that for years I have passed on to the new generation who passionately take up the baton. I deal with events in the tourism, food and wine, and conference sectors as well as organizing private events, especially weddings. Our company is a country oasis in the city, where catering is the point around which hospitality and welcome for up to 1300 guests around the table revolve.
Member of Donne Del Vino since 2021, I enthusiastically embraced the spirit of the Association, immediately working on research and enhancement projects for the Donne del Vino of the Sardinia region, ready to look with interest beyond the sea and to the rest of the world. I know the value of women, and in this association I recognize their strength, enthusiasm, passion, and care."
