How much do you miss having aperitifs with friends? Those at your favorite place, with no time limits, with good cheese paired with excellent wine. A habit that now seems so far away. I miss them so much, which is why I want to offer you a valid alternative to relive this moment with the right lightheartedness but in total safety in the comfortable environment of your own homes, in the company of your dearest friends. Let me introduce you to the Aperitif Box, containing some excellent local products and a guided tasting with food/wine pairing by a sommelier. The aperitif will begin with an informal chat during which I will try to gauge your preferences and tastes. Then, with the help of educational material (which I will share with you on screen), I will explain the basic rules of food and wine pairing and reveal some little secrets that will help you make the right wine choices for your dinners and aperitifs with family and friends. Then we will move on to the sensory analysis of the purchased products, which always consists of 3 phases: visual, olfactory, and taste/olfactory. Once you have learned the technical rules, we will play with what is available, trying to find the perfect pairing, focusing on sensory perceptions. Here’s what you need for the experience: 1. The products contained in the Tasting Box; 2. 1 transparent glass with a long stem (better if you have 3); 3. An electronic device (pc, tablet or smartphone); 4. A good online connection; The experience will last 1.5 hours and will be accessible to everyone. You do not need to have any technical knowledge about wines or cheeses. So beginners are welcome!
