I am sure that "real" experiences will resume very soon, but they will undergo some changes compared to the past. It will be necessary to respect social distancing, it will be preferable to carry them out outdoors, still using safety devices (which will not hinder our tastings of traditional products), and it will be advisable to limit the number of participants (but this is an advantage because it will foster closer relationships). In the meantime, for your safety and mine, and so as not to give up the food and wine activities I care so much about, I have decided to launch my first online experience. This is not a tutorial or a pre-recorded video that is the same for everyone, but a PERSONALIZED EXPERIENCE, different every time, which changes based on your curiosities and knowledge needs. But what does this online experience consist of? Our experience will begin with a friendly chat during which I will try to gauge your knowledge of the world of wine and your preferences and tastes: for example, do you prefer whites or reds? Are you traditionalists and love to consume only local wines or do you like to experiment and taste wines from other parts of Italy and the world? Then, with the support of educational material (a chart that I will share with you on screen and then send you by email) and a glass of wine, I will teach you the basic rules of tasting and how to recognize the characteristics of each wine. So you will need to have a good wine for our activity. It doesn't matter if each of us has a different wine because this experience is not a tasting where there is a simple description, but it is something more. Then we will look together at the basic rules for food and wine pairing and I will reveal some little secrets that will help you make the right wine choice for your dinners and aperitifs with family and friends. After this experience, wine will no longer have secrets for you. In the eyes of your friends, you will become wine experts, without having attended a sommelier course! The experience will take place in the comfortable and safe environment of your home or wherever you prefer. You won't need to travel (except to go buy a wine to taste). You can stay in your slippers and comfortably seated on your sofa.
