Discover the world of Sardinian cheesemaking tradition with a guided tour of one of the most important dairies in the Cagliari area, known for the excellent quality and wide variety of its products, awarded in many national and international competitions. During the experience I will tell you the story of the dairy’s founder, his innovative ideas, and the journey that led the company to become a benchmark in the dairy sector.
Together we will go through all the main production stages of some of Sardinia’s most famous cheeses, discovering how unique, authentic-tasting products are born from milk. We will visit the large areas dedicated to processing, up to the evocative aging warehouse, where thousands of cheese wheels are stored.
To ensure full compliance with hygiene and health regulations, during the tour you will be provided with suitable protective equipment: coat, hairnet, shoe covers and mask.
At the end of the visit we will relax in the spacious tasting room, where you will enjoy a guided cheese-tasting experience. You will learn to recognize the main sensory characteristics of the products, the differences between the various aging stages, aromas, textures, and the correct tasting techniques. Everything will be paired with an excellent glass of wine, white or red, to best enhance the flavors of Sardinian cheesemaking tradition.

The cost includes: access and guided tour of the dairy; kit consisting of hairnet, coat and shoe covers for the visit; tasting of some cheeses accompanied by a glass of wine; accompaniment by the food-and-wine guide for the entire duration of the experience. Transport costs to reach the dairy are not included.
