WHO I AM

The passion for food and wine

I am Cristina, founder and owner of LE STRADE DEL GUSTO, whose main activity consists in accompanying tourists, both Italian and foreign, and anyone who wants to deepen their knowledge, on a journey to discover the most representative food and wine products of our region with a particular focus on the world of wine.

Through the experiences offered, you will be able to visit some of the most renowned wineries in the area, listen to the fascinating stories of the wines and the people who produce them, and then be guided through the sensory experience of tasting and food and wine pairings. You can visit dairies and experience cheese production; oil mills and discover the characteristics of what is called yellow gold; artisanal bakeries, pasta, and pastry workshops to rediscover the art of kneading. And last but not least, the opportunity to visit the San Benedetto civic market, so rich in scents, colors, and delicacies to taste, and a showcase of our gastronomic traditions.

Graduated in Economics & Commerce from the University of Cagliari, for many years I worked in marketing in the large-scale retail sector and also worked as a professional Sommelier at two important restaurants in the city of Cagliari. After spending a few years abroad, in 2019 I became an entrepreneur by founding LE STRADE DEL GUSTO.

Sommelier Diploma and Official Taster AIS (Italian Sommelier Association) obtained in 2008 and 2009 respectively. From 2016 to 2019 I was a teacher in FIS (Italian Sommelier Foundation) training courses, teaching wine marketing. I recently collaborated with the European School of Sommeliers as a teacher of tasting techniques. I have been a member of Le Donne del Vino since September 2019.

Oil Sommelier since 2022, Master Salami Taster ONAS since 2021, and Cheese Tasting Technician ONAF since 2022. I obtained a Level 1 Master's for Chocolate Tasters in 2025.
